Original Bill of Sale
When researching Williams' Marina there was very little information I could find until the the above Bill of Sale was supplied with the boat's paperwork at closing. I was seeing many ads and writings that had Williams Marina being the builder. Below is a 26 foot Verity Skiff being sold a "Jersey Skiff."

The below shows A "Jersey Skiff" new in 1964. with a Verity hull. This boat had and extremely large windshield and three trim stripes. Verity Skiff builders rarely, if ever, spent time adding a decorative trim.
The photo below shows a "Jersey Skiff" new in 1962 with a Verity hull. This is the way a Verity Skiff should look.

The owner of Williams Marina was not the builder of the skiff; he was the agent for the boat. He marketed it as a "Jersey Skiff" because Jersey Skiff's had racing hulls. It makes sense for an agent to sell speed in a market when faster fiberglass boats were being mass produced.
The differences between the 1961 and the 1964 version, were the changes made by Williams Marina as stated in the Bill of Sale.
When you remove the changes done by Williams Marina, and correct the dates,
I am left with one thing to say,
Thank you Grandpa!
